I was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. I attended Rockbridge Elementary and then Stone Mountain High School. I Joined the Georgia Army National Guard in 1985 as an MP(190th MP CO). After initial active duty. I was hired on with the Atlanta Police Department in 1986. Graduated GMI in 1988 as 2nd Lieutenant, branch Aviation, I was assigned to 1st of 244th Aviation Regiment, Winder, Georgia (Georgia Air Support Facility) as a flight platoon leader. I Graduated from Brenau University in 1996. I was appointed Senior Police Officer in 1997 and was assigned to the Asset Forfeiture Unit, Later assigned to Auto Theft Unit.I was promoted to Sergeant. May 2007 and was assigned to the underground Atlanta Patrol area. In 2010 was transferred to the CNN precinct Day shift and supervised the Downtown area of the city. In 2011 I was placed in charge of the foot and bike patrols downtown. In October 2013 I was assigned to the Detective Investigation section of Zone 5 which encompasses the downtown area of the city. I retired in December 2016 after 30 years.
