I have been interested in my families history most of my life. We, The Sumner Family, have had yearly reunions as long as I can remember. I loved asking my elders about the present and their younger years. My only regret is I did not record those wonderful stories earlier in my life. there is so much I have forgotten.
One of the first things I did when I purchased my first good computer was obtain a program to record information about my family members and pass them on to future generations.
