Bio

Hi! I am Susie (Swinford) Shrader/Boucher. I've been working on my family tree project since 2005. I have gone through so many computers, printers, scanners, ink cartridges, reams and reams of paper, not to mention file cabinets, and oodles of notes written on any little blank slip of paper. Nothing much stops me from my research. Back in 2005, after a visit with my brother and his family, I started out with a scrap of paper, a pen, several web-sites and my Dad's memory. There had been many discussions about the American Indian, specifically Cherokee, in our family.
My Mom's side of the tree was much easier, someone (very distant cousin) had already put a family tree book together back in 1976. I was very pregnant the year of that family reunion in 1977, so I really didn't pay attention to this well planned, independently typed 133 page book called "The John Miller Ferguson Family History", (A Huge Thank You, Grace Ferguson Steiger!!).
I am still working , so getting out into the cemeteries is something in my future, after full retirement.
I believe in sharing, after all we didn't get here alone. So if I have something you want to copy, please do, just do not change. Let me know first. A very special thank you for all of the folks who have contributed here, and good luck to those who are just starting out, this can be frustrating and rewarding all at the same time. My searches are in BOWLING, INMAN, Morgan, SWINFORD, Rogers, FERGUSON, LISLE, BROWN, Bayer, EADS, Warden, AUXIER, SHRADER, BARANOWSKI, BOUCHER, CAGLE, KRAWZIK. Be well and happy hunting! Susie
