Funeral for Maurice Jackson, 72, of 2404 Spiller, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Glen Park Missionary Baptist Church, with burial at Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
He died Friday at Sanford Nursing Home.
Jackson, a native of Bullard, moved in 1927 to Fort Worth, where he drove a taxi for several years. He also did carpentry and plastering work.
He was a member of Glen Park Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jeffie Jackson; his son, Danny M. Jackson; two sisters, Lorine Timms and Evada Jackson, both of Tyler; four brothers, Finis Jackson, Sammie Jackson, Willie Jackson and Wilbert Mitchell, all of Tyler.
