KAPLAN - Arthur Simon, 89, Kaplan, died at 8:40 p.m. Friday in a Crowley hospital.

Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the LeRoy Catholic Church with burial in the LeRoy Catholic Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Odile Vice Simon, Kaplan; three sons, Lolias Simon, Morgan City, Leonard Simon, Kaplan and Amaduce Simon, Lafayette; six daughters, Mrs. John Hebert, Mrs. Joe Trahan and Miss Amedia Simon, all of Kaplan, Mrs. Odeon Meaux and Mrs. Exana Simon, both of Abbeville, and Mrs. Offord Woods, Gueydan; one sister, Mrs. Ernest Prejean, Abbeville; one brother, Fergeus Simon, LeRoy; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Meaux Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
