1920 - 2012
Jeane Tervort Lundholm, of Payson, Utah, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the age of 92.
Born February 5, 1920, in Payson, to Clyde Franklin and Hattie Wride Tervort, Jeane was a friend to many in a city she adored. On November 9, 1951, she married Francis "Dale" Lundholm. Together they adopted four Native American children (two sons and two daughters) as well as cared for many foster children in their home. Jeane graduated from Payson High in 1938 and did her part to support the war effort during WWII by working at Camp Roberts in California and at Geneva Steel. Jeane earned a nursing degree in 1951 and worked at Payson Hospital until she retired in 1974.
Full of character and convictions, Jeane influenced all who were blessed to associate with her. She truly led by example and wore out her life in the service of her family, her faith and her community.
Jeane is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and David Warner, of Payson: siblings: Dorothy Jones, Beverly Jacobsen (Ted), Carol Bennett (Ralph) Paul Tervort (Mary Jo), Louis Tervort (Carol); seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband; her sons: Jerry and Randy Lundholm; daughter, Gloria Jeane; siblings: Marilyn Van, Franklin and Gordon Tervort; as well as two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
