Imogene Jarrell, 85, of the Meadows at Maplewood, Bridgeport, WV, formerly of Madison, WV, passed away at her residence on October 15, 2012. She was born in Packsville, WV on August 7, 1927, a daughter of Dewey Pettry and Icie Marie Pettry.
She was a proud and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by
four brothers, George Dewey Pettry of Chicago, IL, James Roland Pettry of King George, VA, Charles Stanley Pettry and wife Edith of Dry Creek, WV, and Edgar Allen Pettry and wife Agnes of Beckley, WV;
one son, Harold Eddie Jarrell jr. and wife Millie of Bowie, MD;
one daughter, Sandra Paige Knoblock and husband James of Bridgeport, WV;
four grandchildren, Eddie Jarrell of Colorado Springs, CO, Nathan Jarrell of Odenton, MD, Steven Knoblock of Morgantown, WV, and Rebecca Knoblock of Bridgeport, WV;
one great-grandson, Cayden;
several nephews and nieces.
She was preceded in death by
her husband of 61 years, Harold Eddie Jarrell (d. 30 September, 2012);
her father, Dewey Pettry;
mother, Icie Marie Pettry;
three sisters, Mary Irene Pettry, Nancy Lee Arnett and Verna Mae Sparks.
