Eladoies Simon died Wednesday following a lengthy illness at the St. Mary Guest Home. He was a resident of Morgan City and was 77 years of age at the time of death.
He survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Faulk of Morgan City, two sons, Pierre Simon of Gibson and John Inson Simon of Morgan City, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan. Burial followed in the Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
