A funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10 in the chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Jesse Sims will officiate and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.
Pallbearers will be James Haynes, Steve Haynes, Marvin Purgason, Tom Smith, George Purgason and Carl Smith.
Mrs. Grimes was born January 10, 1923 in Coweta County, daughter of the late George and Della Weaver Haynes. She had lived in Hogansville for the past 20 years, was a Baptist and was retired from RAM Manufacturing Company in Hogansville.
Surviving are three brothers, John Haynes and Bob Haynes, both of Hogansville, and Sidney Haynes of Carrollton; a number of nieces and nephews.
