Angelina "Angie" Cunico, age 88, passed away on September 29, 2012 at. Mount Saint Francis Nursing Center in Colorado Springs, Co. She was born in Sopris, Colorado on May 24, 1924 the daughter of Frances (Randisi) and Giuseppe Incitti. She attended Sopris schools graduating from Lincoln High School in 1942. In 1947, Angie was united in marriage to Binda Louis Cunico at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Together they owned and operated Cunico Grocery in Sopris, Co. until 1968. After her husband's death, she moved to Ft. Collins where she was employed as a cook for CSU. She later moved to Colorado Springs where she resided until her passing. Angie was a kind and generous person, helping anyone in need. She was devoted to her family and her faith and was very active in the Holy Apostles Parish where she played the organ and sang in the church choir.

Preceding her in death are parents Frances and Giuseppe Incitti, husband Binda Louis Cunico, sister Mary Jane Incitti, brother Angelo "Spraggs" Incitti, numerous sisters and brothers in law including Faye Incitti, Lucille Incitti, Pat Incitti, Esther (Gendo) Sebben, Julia (Mike) Butero, Angelo (Caroline) Cunico, Ann (Felix) Lira, Crist (Pena) Cunico, and Catherine (Tony) Maccagnan. Survivors are sons, grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 1:00Pm at Holy Trinity Church. Inurnment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery. In lieu flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mount Saint Francis Nursing Center, 7550 Assisi Heights Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80919 in her memory. A special memorial will be held in Colorado Springs at a later date for her friends in the area. Arrangements made under the direction of the Comi Funeral Home.
