Faye Reaves McNett, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2005. Faye was born July 16, 1927 in Rhine, GA. She attended and graduated from Rhine High School, where she was a star Basketball player. After marrying, Faye and her family traveled around the country as her husband, Commander Edgar L. McNett, was stationed in several different cities while serving in the United States Navy. She lived in Coronado, CA, where she was a member of the Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. She also lived in Arlington, TX, Jacksonville, FL, Virginia Beach, VA, Maryland and came back to reside in Jacksonville, with the rest of her family. Faye was a member of Lake Forest Baptist Church and several civic organizations such as the Order of the Eastern Star, Order of the White Shrine, ABWA, NAMIC and a charter member of Jacksonville Women In Construction. She retired from R.B. Gay Construction Co, Inc. as Personnel and Public Relations Manager. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, William Ander Reaves and Nettie Alma Reaves, brother, William Henry Reaves, husband, Commander Edgar L. McNett, daughter, Madoline Kandice McNett, brotherinlaw, Richard McNett (Marge) and sisterinlaw, Lucille Reaves. Faye is survived by her two sons, Jacques Lewis McNett, Ormond Beach, Fl and Michael Brett McNett, New York, a brother, John J. Reaves, Sr. (Joyce), brotherinlaw, Marion McNett (Landon), sisterinlaw, Helen M.. Reaves, her dear friend, Louise Rogers, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with numerous friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, April 11, 2005 at Naugle Funeral Home, 1203 Hendricks Avenue, where the family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7PM. Rev.
