LOUISIANA - Margaret Sisson Lewellen, 98, of Louisiana, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at the Moore-Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lewellen will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana. The Rev. Earl Wood will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lewellen was born Oct. 31, 1905, in Louisiana, to Charles Sisson Jr. and Louella Travis Sisson. She was married to John Cecil Lewellen in Jacksonville, Ill., on April 4, 1934. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1963.
Survivors include one son, John Preston Lewellen and wife Naomi of Eolia; two grandchildren, Jon Kevin Lewellen and wife Marsha of Lewisville, Texas, and Bronwyn L. Schulte and husband Larry of Winfield; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by three siblings, Ralph Sisson, Charles Sisson III and Opal Turnbaugh.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
