She was a local resident for 12 years and a housewife. She graduated from Calhan High School and lived most of her life there. She was a Protestant. She is survived by her husband, Thomas S. Hiscox, Colorado Springs; four children, Dorothy, Donald, Carolyn and Brenda, all of Colorado Springs; and her mother, Mrs. Mabel Bruce, Calhan.buried 22 June 1964
