DUCOTE - At the family residence, Bunkie, La., Monday, April 1, 1940, Mrs. F.C. Ducote, 74. The deceased is survived by five sons, Ed, Guy, and Conilious Ducote of Bunkie, Danny Ducote of Oklahoma City and Ivy Ducote of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Newman of New Orleans, Mrs. T.S. Riche of Evergreen and Mrs. Clifton Juneau of Long Bridge; three brothers, Leon Scallan of Plaucheville, Augusta Scallan of Alexandria and George Scallan of Bunkie. There are also 26 grandchildren surviving.
Funeral services were held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Anthony Catholic church with Rev. Father Dube officiating. Interment was made in the Pythian cemetery, Bunkie, under the direction of Hixson brother of Bunkie.
Pall bearers were: Leo Riche, Walter Riche, Elson Juneau, Benard Juneau, A. Aymond and Bert Ducote.
