Captured in 1985, Blanco served almost 20 years in prison before being deported back to her native Colombia in 2005. Blanco has been featured in the documentary films "Cocaine Cowboys" and "Cocaine Cowboys 2" and on US television in the show "Deadly Women." In 2018, Blanco's life was portrayed by Catherine Zeta-Jones in a movie named "Cocaine Godmother" for the Lifetime TV Network.
