Moses EMBREE married, ca. 1674, to Miss Mary SEAMAN, dau. of John SEAMAN (1609-aft.1695) of Hempstead, L.I., NY and his 2nd wife, Martha (MOORE) SEAMAN.
At a general town meeting held in Hempstead, L.I., New York, 1 November 1676, there was a distribution made of town lots and "To benjamen SEAMANS and Solomon SEMANS and Thomas SEMANS and Jonathan SEMANS and Moses EMORY [EMBREE] and Joseph BALDIN was Given 3 akers of land a pese on the Est side of Mr. SEMAN's lott."
