She was born September 17, 1941, in Richmond, Kentucky, to T. J. and Louise Ledford Curtis, both whom preceded her in death. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Curtis.
Ann was a retired teacher and worked in the Madison County School System at Daniel Boone Elementary School. She attended the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Richmond and she loved spending time with family and friends and she enjoyed long drives in the country.
Ann is survived by two daughters, Melissa Patterson (Companion Stephen Woods) of Springfield, IL and Christine Patterson Phares, of Chatham, IL; two sons, Charles M. Patterson (Cynthia) Auburn, IL and Jud Patterson (Brandi) of Richmond; one sister, Harriet Luxon (Bobby) of Richmond; one sister-in-law, Carolyn Curtis.
She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Bridget Patterson, Evan Patterson, Charlie Patterson, Lilly Phares, Flanary Patterson, Lainey Patterson, Reagan Patterson and Rosie Patterson, as well as several nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Services at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Dr. Betsy Goehrig and Bro. Jonathan Tussey officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Doug Tussey, Ernie Tussey, Clay Tussey, Charles Tussey, Robert Tussey, Steve Tussey, Winifred Starnes and Aaron Thomas, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Hospice Compassionate Care Center, 350 Isaacs Lane, Richmond, KY 40475.
