Mrs. A. F. Megonigal

Mrs. Pauline Megonigal, 77, of 360 Fleetwood st., Coatesville, wife of Alfonso F. Megonigal, died Saturday afternoon at the Tel Hai nursing home, Honey Brook, RD, where she had been a patient for the past week.

Mrs. Megonigal had previously been a patient in the Coatesville Hospital for five weeks, and had been ill for the ast three years.

She was born in Little Creek, Del., and had resided in the Coatesville area since 1921.

Surviving in addition to her husband are five sons, Byard, of Westwood; James, of Coatesville RD; Paul, of Caln; William, of Downingtown, and Ernest, of Hartford, Conn.; eight grand children and six great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are iinvited to attend the funeral services from the Funeral Home of Harry E. Wentz, 342 E. Chestnut St., Coatesville, on Wednesday, November 16, at 2 p.m. Interment in Glen Run Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening.

In observnace of their Golden Wedding Anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Megonigal, 360 Fleetwood st., were honored at a surprise dinner given by their sons on Sunday, at Olga's restaurant, W. Lincoln Hwy.

Carrying out the golden theme, a floral arrangement of 50 yellow roses adorned the table along with a beautifully decorated wedding annniversary cake.

Mrs. Megonigal received a corsage of yellow orchids; and Mr. Megonigal was the recipient of a yellow rosebud boutonniere. The couple also received may gifts commerating the occasion.

The couple had been married on Oct. 23, 1907 at the home of the bride in Marahsllton, Del., with the Rev. E. H. Miller officiating at the ceremony.

Megonigal and children, Joan, Linda and James, Brandywine Manor; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Megonigal and daughter Sandra, Coatesville; Mr. and Mrs. William Megonigal, Downingtown; Ernest Megonigal, Hartford, Conn.; Mr. anad Mrs. Earl Megonigal and children, Patricia, Earl, Jr., and Robin of Parkesburg; and Timothy Cadigan, of Coatesville.
