Steve Carlesi, 37, of Scranton, formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Born July 22, 1974, he was a son of Thomas Stephen Carlesi of Boca Raton, Fla., and Alice Jacobs Carlesi of Basking Ridge, N.J. He graduated from Hebron Academy, Maine and Boston University, with a degree in communications and broadcasting. Steve was employed for 12 years with the Opie and Anthony Radio Show. His last five years there, he was both program director and executive producer. He was also the executive producer of the Danny Bonaduce Show in Philadelphia and most recently, was employed as the production director and on-air talent for Rock 107, Scranton. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Elisabeth Carlesi. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, a son, and a stepdaughter. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Parish, 66 Willow St., Plymouth. Family and friends are invited to call Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice , in Steve's name.
