SPECULATIVE but likely that this man is buried in the Boynton Family Cemetery - see "A Rockaway in Talbot County: Travels in an Old Georgia County," Volume III (1988), by William H. DAVIDSON, pp. 90-91. Born ca. 1773. Died between 13 DEC 1851, when his Will was made, and ____ 1852, when it was proved. Married Tabitha "Tabbie" CHAPMAN, who predeceased him. Evidently the father of at least nine children.

Daughter Nancy BOYNTON married a Mr. BALL

Daughter Retincea BOYNTON married Dr. George W. TURNER

"Died. . .In Barbour county, Ala., on the 2nd day of October, Mrs. RETINICIA M. TURNER, in the 35th year of her age. She was the daughter of Moses BOYNTON, of Ga. She made a profession of Christianity in the 12th year of her age, and united with the Baptist Church, and remained in full communion with said Church to the day of her demise. She leaves a husband (Dr. Geo. W. TURNER) and one daughter, with a numerous circle of friends to mourn her deceased; but her mourning is not without hope that at her exit from the church militant, she found admittance into the church triumphant. // AMICUS." [Columbus (GA) Enquirer newspaper, Tuesday, 23 NOV 1852, p. 3.]
