MRS. HOWARD HORN

Mrs. Howard Horn, 56, nee Verna Borkrnhagen, a lifetime resident of the Town of Sherman, died this morning at Rocky Knoll Sanatorium following a lingering illness.

Born March 21, 1914, in Charlesburg, a daughter of the late Ernst and Mrs. Borkenhagen, she was confirmed April 10, 1927, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Plymouth.

On June 24, 1933, she married to Mr. Horn at St. John's.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sherman Center, its Mission Circle, Ladies Guild, and a past member of the church choir.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donald, Adell, and Ronald, Random Lake; one daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Delores) Sramek, Random Lake; five grandchildren; her mother, Plymouth; one brother, Harvey, Hacienda Heights, Calif.; and three sisters, Mrs. Ed Gardner and Alvin Frantz, both of Plymouth; and Mrs. Emil Spieker, Waldo.

One grandchild preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John Church, Sherman Center, the Rev. Herbert Ries, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wilk Funeral Home, Random Lake, from 4 p.m. Thursday until 10 a.m. Friday and at the church.
