Adalina "Lillian" Hurff (nee DeEugenio), age 96 died peacefully at her home in Barnsboro on Wednesday July 11, 2012. Mrs. Hurff was born in Philadelphia and had been a resident of Barnsboro since 1937. Mrs. Hurff was a 1934 graduate of Glassboro High School who enjoyed cooking, caring for her home and family. She and her husband operated their own poultry farm and established Hurff Lake in 1965. Wife for 78 years of John R. Hurff, Sr., she is also survived by two sons John R. Hurff, Jr. and his wife Nancy, J. Robert Hurff, Sr. and his wife Irene, 5 grandchildren Stephen (Amy), Scott (Susan), Paul (Lorraine), Joseph R. "Robby" (Dale) Hurff, Jr., Rebecca Hurff Greenwood, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, and one brother Lewis DeEugenio, sister-in-law Lillian DeEugenio, and many nieces and nephews.. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 9 to 11 AM Saturday, July 14th at SMITH FUNERAL HOME 47 Main St., Mantua, NJ where funeral services will be held at 11 AM.
