Ram Bali, 88, beloved husband of Shiu Kuar, died in the presence of loved ones on Wednesday.
Born in Suva, Fiji, he moved to the United States in 1986 and resided in San Jose, California the remainder of his life. Mr. Bali worked hard to provide for his family, first as a farmer and later building his own bus transportation business in Fiji. When he moved to the United States, he continued his love of farming by tending to his garden. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Shiu; and his 4 daughters, 2 sons and their spouses. Mr. Bali was also blessed with 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
