Mrs. Gary passed away peacefully at home at 1418 Bacon Ave in Portage, MI. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 with her family at her side. Grace was born in Iowa, on September 13, 1918, the daughter of the late Daniel and Trientje Bolhuis. Grace had a strong personality and was a joy to be around. She was married to her late husband Murmun Gary and celebrated many wonderful years together. Grace was a hard worker who was employed for more than 20 years at the Arco Rubber Company. When not working, Grace could be found taking care of things around her home. She loved being outdoors working in her garden, landscaping, and feeding the Hummingbirds. Grace also enjoyed puzzles and other crafts. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and leaves them with many special memories. She was also preceded in passing by a granddaughter, Tammy Gary and by 9 siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children, James (Phyllis) Gary, Dorothy Woods, Delbert (Donna) Gary; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren.
