Finis Jackson Rites Wednesday

Services for Finis Jackson, 69, Tyler, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Spalding Mortuary chapel with the Revs. A.W. Mays, Darryl Madlock, Rozell Jones and Alex R. King officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mr. Jackson died Friday in a Tyler hospital after a brief illness.

He was born Oct. 16, 1915, in Bullard, and was a member of Truevine Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ollie Mae Jackson, Tyler; a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Kay Jackson, Anchorage, Alaska; a grandson, Terrell L. Small, Tyler; two brothers, Sammy Jackson and Willie Jackson, both of Tyler; and two sisters, Mrs. Lorine Timms and Mrs. Evada Jackson, both of Tyler.

Pallbearers were to be Ronnie Brewster, Rickey Guthrie, Robbie Guthrie, Danny Jackson, Larry Jackson, Carl Owens, Dennis Owens and Tommy Owens.

The family will receive friends 7 - 8 tonight in the chapel.
