Suggested addition to Michael Eddy's bio: Massachusetts, Wills and Probate Records, 1635-1991, Bristol Probates, Volume 10-11, 1740-1749, Pages 624-625: Excerpt from the Will of Caleb Eddy, dated June 5, 1748: I give and devise unto my son, Michael Eddy, his heirs and assigns forever, all this my Homestead Farm together with my dwelling house, out houses and all other the appurtenances thereunto belonging with all my farming taxhlin [sic] of what name soever, my bash [?] stone and my musket and all my living stock of what name or denomination soever that is not herin already given and disposed of, the better to enable [?] him to discharge my just debts and legacies here in assigned him all the rest of my lands whether divided or undivided not herein given and devised away. I give and devise to my two sons and to their heirs and assigns forever, namely Elisha and Michael, equally between them, part and part alike. I do hereby Nominate, Constitute, and Appoint my son, Michael Eddy, to be my only and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, Ratifying and Confirming the name.
