Jewel Lilly was the daughter of Norma and John Lilly. She was born in Beckley in 1947. She graduated from Hinton High in 1967. Jewel worked in the lab at the Bluefield Sanitarium and was married to Bob Hufford at Jumping Branch Baptist Church on June 6, 1969. She was very good at working with children and she was a wonderful Sunday school teacher. She passed away of cancer in Beaufort, South Carolina in 1977.
