Clinton "Mac" McDaniel, 86, of Fayetteville, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 5, 2012.
Mac was born in Donie, Texas on February, 21, 1926, the son of the late Ruben and Iva Earl (Mason) McDaniel. He married Esther Ella Seiffert on June 15, 1946 in Fairfield, Texas.
Mac worked as General Manager of Maintenance for Houston Light & Power and retired with 34 years of service on April 1, 1986.
He is survived by daughter, Jo Ann Block, of Groves, Texas; son, Paul McDaniel and wife, Vernalea, of Teague, Texas; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Esther McDaniel, who passed away on April 8, 2011; and sister, Margaret Gage.
Visitation noon today, Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home, La Grange. Services 11 a.m. Friday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Warrenton. Burial Rutersville Cemetery, Rutersville.
