Civil War Soldier:
Hiram enlisted as a Private serving the Union Army on 12 Aug 1862. On 9 Sep 1862 he enlisted in Company G, New Hampshire 12th Infantry Regiment. Hiram mustered out of service on 21 Jun 1864 at Richmond, Virginia.
