She was born March 21, 1938 in Angelica, the daughter of Carl Sr. and Marion Silsby Patterson. She had worked for several area restaurants.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed birdwatching. In earlier years, she taught bowling to young children at Frewsburg Lanes.
Maribelle is survived by five children: Mary (Dennis) Brink, Patty Mead (Tim Berg), Richard (Sue) Carlson, Michael (Deb) Carlson of Frewsburg, and Vicky (Fred) Williams of Jefferson, Ohio; 13 grandchildren: Sam Zembardo lll, Melanie Zembardo, Daryl Brink, and Josh (Lindsey) Caldwell of Frewsburg, Nakia (Sabrina) Mead and Nokomis (Dave) Stanton of Russell, Pa., Dave Zembardo of Lakewood, Jay Baker of Ellington, Danielle (James) Payne of Bemus Point, Teri Zembardo of Great Valley, Richard Carlson of Charlotte, N.C., Christopher Moynihan of Jamestown, and Nicole (Justin) Martin of Watertown, N.Y., 12 great-grandchildren; and 11 sisters and brothers: Clair, Frank, Rose, Marshall, Wesley, Anna, Cora, Betty, Carol, Wilma, and Joyce.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Brink; two brothers; Jim Silsby, and Carl Patterson Jr.; two sisters: Sarah Macri and Marion Patterson; and her grandmother, Mary Wank.
