She had been making her home there for the last 11 years.
She was born Dec. 10, 1875 in the town of Stockbridge, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Ludwig. She attended the St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Kloten. On May 21, 1901 she married Jacob Schneider at Kloten and the couple farmed there until the death of Mr. Schneider in August 1948.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at Kloten and the parish Christian Mothers society.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond of New Holstein and Norman of Route 1, Chilton; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Leona) Pethan of Charlesburg; 14 grandchildren and one brother, William Ludwig of Chilton.
Two sisters and six brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Kloten. The Rev. Joseph Bartelme officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery
