Born Florence Adamczak on Oct. 23, 1913, she entered the Immaculate Heart of Mary Province of Felician Sisters on July 2, 1932, and professed her final vows on Aug. 13, 1940.
Sr. Edmundine received both a bachelor's and master's degree in education from Onunt St. Joseph Teahers Colelge now Medaille College in Buffalo.
She served as a teacher for 39 years in schools in the Dioceses of Buffalo, Syracuse and Ogdensburg, in addition to several school in Canada. She was a princeipal for 20 years of her ministry.
Sister Edmundine is predeceased by her parents, Roch and Maryann (Wylegala) and her siblings, Joseph, Stanley, Edward, Hattie Koch, Viola Grace, Laura Zajd, Gertrude Szafranski, Mary Torok and Anna Wienclawski. She is suvived by nieces, nephews and greatnieces, Sister Corinne and Sister Partice Yarborough, SSMN.
