Theresa was born in Austria according to various records, including her brother's bio in the Milwaukee news when he became a U.S. Citizen at nearly 90, long after entering the U.S. as a child. However, her husband, Joseph, is listed as being from Prussia. Theresa bought the plot where she, her husband Joseph, son Peter and son-in-law Adolph Ries are buried. "Glaub" is engraved prominently at the base of the monument on its west side. Each person buried beneath it has his or her name on one of the four sides of the monument.

There is also a Gustav Glaub child buried by Theresa's monument. Given its birth/death date, it must have been a grandchild since it was buried near Joseph on 5/7/1891 almost a year after Theresa had Joseph buried here. Gustav was aged "0". Perhaps it was the offspring of Theresa and Joseph's son August "Gus" Glaub, who was married 25 September 1890, shortly after Joseph passed away. Gustav's burial was almost nine months after August married Selma Osang. Perhaps Gustav was born prematurely.
