Sherry L. Geu, 44, of Aurora, SD, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Brookview Manor. Funeral Services have been set for 10:30am Friday, July 27, 2007 at First United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00am until the time of service, Friday, July 27, 2007 at First United Methodist Church. Rudes Funeral Home is in charge of the services. Sherry Lynn Armentrout was born November 13, 1962 in Norfolk, NE to William and Betty Armentrout. She grew up and attended school in Norfolk. After her schooling she took care of her parents. Sherry worked at the Colonial Motel in Yankton, SD until moving to Aurora, SD due to her ill health. Sherry was a loving and funny person, who would help anyone she could. She loved her animals; Sadie, Rowdy, Princess, Silvie, Bandit and Misty. She was passionate about anything that mattered to her. She was a small feisty person who fought cancer to the very end. Grateful for having shared her life are her sons: Chris Armentrout, Gordon Armentrout and Timothy Armentrout all of Norfolk, NE; her daughter: Amy Armentrout of Norfolk, NE; her fianc Paul Hobrook of Aurora, SD; special friends: Ray and Joy Davis of Aurora and Vicki DeVries of Aurora and her fifteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
