Bio

I was very excited when I stumbled onto this website. I have been assisting my family and other families with their histories for a few years now.
I grew up in a funeral home family, and my grandfather gave me a job caring for the cemeteries in our area. I quickly learned to respect and later to value a well cared for cemetery.
I became a 4th generation funeral director, and one of my jobs was to help families with their grave markers, both selection and placement. I also receive many requests to help locate a family member's grave in my area.
Since I am in a position to assist, I always volunteer my services to help the families I serve increase the background knowledge of their family history. I think this website is a perfect tool for this.
I am recommending to several cemetery sextons, church deacons, and genealogical and historical groups in my area to add to this website for the assistance of the families they serve.
Most of the information I contribute should be fairly accurate, as I generally have access to first hand information. However, if for any reason you find mistakes or information you don't want on the site, please contact me and I will see that it is corrected or removed. I also welcome any requests by families to assist them with their research or share information or photos I have acquired.
