Not unusual in the Adirondacks, Lizzie was married at the age of fifteen, in 1910, to William Wallace Patrick, who was originally from Canada. Bill Patrick was twelve years her senior. Together, they had three children: a daughter, and two sons.
Their only daughter was born (and died) in 1910, the dates of which are found in the Town of Webb, in the Birth records Dr. Stuart Nelson, of Old Forge, NY. For nearly ten years after the death of their daughter, Lizzie and her husband were living at least part of the time in Utica, NY. During that time, their sons, Bernard and Arthur, were born in 1913 and 1917 respectively. In 1925, the State census record still counts their household in Utica, but by 1930 they had returned full time to Inlet.
Curiously, records place them at Gloversville, NY in 1943.
Bill Patrick died in 1955.
Lizzie's death in 1964 was listed as "Beacher, Hamilton County, NY" ... though her obituary (published in Syracuse, NY) said she had died at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica and stated she had "moved to Inlet more than forty years ago."
