Bio

Family historian and genealogical researcher since 1976, twelve generations of my family in the Adirondack Mts of northern NYS (in Hamilton / Warren counties region), with ancestry in early Vermont, Connecticut & Massachusetts back to 1600s...

... and French-Canadian lineage in Quebec and Acadia back to France 1600s, along with Can Fr connections to New England states (primarily Vermont & Massachusetts, but also New Hampshire and Maine); to Louisiana (1755 deportees); and to Michigan.

Also, like most Eastern families, we have those who 'went West.' I'm in contact with cousins in many areas, including: Dakota Territories, Michigan, Iowa, Texas, California, Washington and Oregon.

If you wish to use any photos which I have posted, PLEASE DO. I have been 'cemetery hopping' for nearly fifty years and I am currently posting photos which I took twenty years ago... some of those stones have since fallen, broken, disappeared... or even been replaced (glad I got pics when I did). They are for EVERYONE to use. You may credit me if you wish.
