Singer. He was an exponent of folk Sardinian singing to guitar and a martyr of Ardeatine massacre. He was born in Padria in the province of Sassari, he was a soldier of World War I and after the war he worked as a clerk at the Post Office of Cagliari where he distinguished himself for his anti fascism and for this reason he was transferred by his supervisors in another region. In the thirties he devoted himself to singing , he played the music of his native region and he recorded some 78 rpm records with the label Società Anonima del Grammofono. During the German occupation he was forced to enlist as an officer of the Italian Social Republic, in the Angioj battalion, composed of volunteers Sardinians, but soon he came into contact with some illegal formations of the Partito d'Azione, and he worked with the Resistance. He was betrayed by a spy and arrested by the SS, on 26 February 1944. He was taken at the Ardeatine where he was murdered on 24 March, 1944.
