Mrs. Sarah Arnold Johnson, aged 53, died at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home of her son, Clinton Arnold, east Atwater Avenue. She had been ill several weeks, suffering from kidney disease and complications, and was in the local hospital for observation and treatment the first of this month.
She is survived by the husband, Jasper Johnson; four sons by a former marriage, Clinton, Ellis, Alex, and Claude Arnold, all of Bloomington; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Lawson of Polk township, Miss Mabel Arnold, at home, and Mrs. Grace Weaver of West Va., and one brother, Garfield Leach, of Bicknell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Free Methodist Church and will be in charge of the Rev. Ben Bonney. Burial will be in the South Union cemetery.
