Before computers....Florence was the family historian. Family members obtained family information from her - that she knew or had written down. While Florence was very young when she moved to Vancouver with her parents from Ontario she kept contact with Yearley family members living in Ontario.

Florence and her husband Bill made their own cards (before it was fashionable to do so).
