Henry Rickmeier Dies At His Home In The Town Of Falls

Sheboygan Falls -- Henry Rickmeier, aged 71, life-long resident of the Town of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on the Rickmeier homestead Tuesday at 8:25 p.m. after a lingering illness.

Mr. Rickmeier was born July 6, 1862, in Town Sheboygan Falls, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rickmeier. He was married on June 23, 1895, to Miss Ida Lange and the couple located on the Rickmeier homestead where they have always resided.

Having lived in this township all his life, Mr. Rickmeier was well-acquainted in this vicinity. He was a kind husband and father, deeply devoted to his family.

Survivors are: his wife and two daughters, Mrs. William Haack and Mrs. Arvin Rautmann, both of Town Sheboygan Falls and Mrs. Alfred Baumann of Town Plymouth, who was reared by Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rickmeier; three grandchildren, a brother, Ed Rickmeier of Sheboygan; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Themar, Town Sheboygan.

Funeral services will be held at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home at Sheboygan Falls Friday at 1:30 p.m. and at the Saron Reformed church on the Johnsville line at 2 p.m. The Rev. H. T. Vriesen will officiate and internment will be made in the church cemetery. The body can be viewed at the Funeral Home from Thursday morning until the time of services on Friday.
