Lt. McNally To Be Buried Friday
Funeral services for Lt. John McNally, 23, co-pilot of a B-17 Flying Fortress, who was killed over France June 2, 1944, will be held Friday in Marcellus. The body will arrive in Marcellus tonight. Friends may call at the Uttley and Norris funeral home from 3 to 5 and 7 until 10 p.m. tomorrow. Services will be conducted the following day at 9 a.m. in the funeral home and at 9:30 a.. in St. Francis Xavier Church. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Lt. McNally was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. McNally, formerly of Marcellus, who now live in Pittsburgh, Pa. He entered service March 2, 1942, and after his commission as a pilot, he was assigned to the 390th Heavy Bombardment Group, 568th Squadron, Eighth Air Force. He was a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School in Pittsburgh, Pa., and attended Kiski Preparatory School and University of Pittsburgh prior to enlistment. Besides his parents, survivors are two brothers, William R.
