MRS. SAWALL, CLUB LEADER, IS DEAD AT 54

MEMBER OF KEYSTONE SHRINE, AUXILIARY; BODY IS IN STATE

Mrs. Margaret E. Sawall, 54, 9f 298 Ellis St., died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday at St. Agnes Hospital. Her death was unexpected.

She was born April 6, 1911, in Marquette, Mich, the daughter of Terrence and Emily Gorman Hanley. She was married to John C. Sawall Feb. 2 1931, in Appleton. He died in 1955. Mrs. Sawall had resided in Fond du Lac since 1938 and had been employed as a bookkeeper at the Kremer furniture store for the last several years.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 70, a past Worthy High Priestess of Keystone Shrine 4, and past counselor of U.T.X. Auxiliary. She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Miss Dolores Sawall, city; a son, Warren, Annandale, Va.; her mother of Detroit; four grandchildren and four brothers, Roger, Escanaba, Mich., Terrence of Los Angeles and Robert and Patrick, Detroit.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Candlish Chapel, Rev. b. J. Stecker officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, Mich. Friends may call at the chapel.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Sawall, who died Sunday, were held at 9:30 a.m. today at the Candlish Chapel, Rev. Bernard J. Steckeer officiating. Mrs. W. Harry Johnson was the organist. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, MIch.

Memorial services were held at 7:30 p.m. Monday by the U.C.T. Auxiliary with Mrs. Earl Hankwitz and Mrs. Melrose Jasmer as officers.

At 8 p.m. Monday the White Shrine of Jerusalem, Keystone Chapter 4 held services. Mrs. Martha Oberreich was in charge with Mr. And Mrs. Grant Williams, Mrs. Gale Degner, Mrs. Birdell Stepp, Mrs. Beth Selmer and Mrs. Susan Averbeck as officers. Mrs. Marion Simons sang and Mrs. Irma Salisbury was the organist.
