Dolores Jean Sawall, 89, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, October 18, 2021, at St. Francis Home.

Dolores was born in Escanaba, Michigan, to the late John and Margaret Sawall on May 16, 1932. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac High School, Class of 1950. Following graduation, she attended U.W. LaCrosse, Chicago University for x-ray Tech, and U.W. Oshkosh for a teaching degree. She taught for over 30 years in the Fond du Lac School District.

Dolores enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, playing cards and gambling. She loved to be outside with her flowers. She was a true Wisconsin sports fan of the Badgers, Brewers, Bucks, and Green Bay Packers. She was a life member of the Wisconsin Education Association, life-time member of National Teachers Association, and the Fond du Lac Retired Educators.

She is survived by very special cousins: Tara H. Bratton and Patrick L. Hanley and very special friends the Case, Kreif and Mengel families.

At Dolores request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation has taken place, with inurnment at Riverside Cemetery, Menominee, Michigan, next to John and Margaret Sawall.

Dolores has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Agnesian Hospice Home or a charity of ones choice.
