Helen Elizabeth Franzen, age 45, formerly of 501 Michigan Ave., Sheboygan, died at Clair House on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004.
Helen was born in Sheboygan on Sept. 29, 1958, a daughter of Sylvester and Retha (Wade) Franzen. She attended Horace Mann and Sheboygan South High School. Helen lived with and cared for her parents for many years. She loved birds and enjoyed painting. She also loved to ride motorcycles and play darts. She was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son; and her mother, Retha, all of Sheboygan; three brothers; two sisters; many nieces, nephews; and her dog, Samson. She was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester, and her brother, Dennis.
A funeral service will be held for Helen on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home, with Sr. Marilyn Brodd of St. Peter Claver Parish, officiating. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home, S. 12th St., on Thursday from noon until the time of the service at 2 p.m.
