Thank you all so much for visiting Rebel's page. I know that we have been in your thoughts and prayers it means so much.

I want to thank Steve for sponsoring Rebel's page.

Rebel came to live with us in the summer of 2004. A friend had told us about a family that was breaking up house keeping, and their dog needed a home we drove for 3 hours to see this dog. Reb stayed in the house with his family, they were 2 small children there to take care of and he loved them, so gentle. The day we picked him up the owner cried so hard, it was pitiful, the bond they had, watching his family fall apart. I promised to keep him updated and made a good friend. All is well with the family now...

He loved to ride like many other's we know except he thought he owned the truck and if there was a hood up on one of the vehicle's, he was standing up on the fender, watching everything going on like he could fix it.

As most of you know, we found out Rebel was in some trouble the day after Thanksgiving. He was in heart failure and put on 3 different kinds of medicine. The fluid pill wasn't working good the last few days, too much fluid build up, the vet tried to tap him several times and it just didn't work. I got him a big bone from the store 2 days before he passed and he played with it tossing it up in the air, pouncing at it, trying to be the proud yet goofy dog he had always been. The morning we had decided to have his life here ended, we knew he was ready, he honorably walked to the truck and jumped in for his last ride. I got alot of kisses from him that morning...

We love and miss the big guy so much.

Reb tried to keep me fit, limber then sore he made me do alot of handstands and flips, by coming up behind me and lifting me up with his nose, he loved to catch me bent over.
