METCALF, Eva - Formerly of 741 Page St., age 84, died Saturday, November 13, 1965, at St. Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel, Garland and Third Ave., Dr. Cedric Sears officiating. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Lapeer, Michigan. Mrs. Metcalf will lie in state at Groves & Co. Memorial Chapel. Death was due to complications. She was born in Oregon Township, Genesee County, Michigan on December 31, 1880. The daughter of John and Mary Ann Quinney. Mrs. Metcalf was a member of the North Baptist Church. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Her husband, Robert N. Metcalf, preceded her in death on April 7, 1962. Arrangements by Groves & Co.

I have used the year of birth, 1880, rather then using the one on Eva's marker. Her birth record, on family search, and her obituary both say she was born in 1880.
