Cornelia DuBois Hartman, 100, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2012 in Traditions of Chillicothe, Ohio, following a brief illness. She was born August 24, 1911, on Farview Farm, on Vigo Road near Londonderry, Ohio, to the late Jacob E. and Claire S. Lewis DuBois.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews including, David DuBois, Jr., Doug and Clarice DuBois, Kelly and Matt Ayers, Karis and Matt Anderson, Marsha DuBois and Family, Cricket DuBois, Randy and Joyce DuBois and Family, Carol Thacker and Family, Cindy and Dave Owings, Chris and Trina Owings and Bonnie and Jamie Barker and Family, all of Chillicothe; John and June Allen and Family, of Waverly, Jerry Colburn and Family, of Montana, Connie Pond and Family, of South Carolina and Peggy Young and Family, of Florida; a very special great niece, Cindy and Dave Owings, of Chillicothe; a very special great great niece, Bonnie (Jamie) Barker, of Chillicothe; and many special friends in Loveland, OH including, Mary Rose Stiver, Mary Lou Smith and Warren McCelland, who kept her updated monthly on Loveland News. A special thanks to all of her family who made her recent 100th birthday a very special event. Also, the family would like to thank her special caregivers at Traditions of Chillicothe, Mindy, Lori, Heather, Amanda, Lacie, Angela, Rhea, Caleb and Bonnie; special nurses, Pam, Jenny, Sam, Rob and Linda; and also, Pastor Dave Stulley, Pastor of New Life Church of Christ in Christian Union, Richmond Dale. She was predeceased by her son, Richard L. Hartman; sisters, Ann Allen, Margaret Thacker, Jane Shamil and Dorcus Hafler; brothers, David Dubois, Jake DuBois, and Duane D. DuBois; and former husband, Lou Hartman.

She was a graduate of Richmond Dale High School and the Jewish School of Nursing. She retired as a R.N. from Lloyd Mann Public Schools near Loveland, Ohio. She was an Avid Cincinnati Reds Fan.

Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
