Floyd L. Maddy
Former Salem resident Floyd L. Maddy, 53, of Portland, died Monday in a Portland nursing home. He had been in ill health for some time.
He was born in South Sioux City, Iowa, and came to Oregon as a youth. He was employed here for many years at Oregon Pulp & Paper Mill, now Boise Cascade. He moved to Portland in 1951.
He is survived by son Robert and daughter Mrs. Mary Beth Leonard of Portland; brothers Roy of Dallas, Ray of Albany, Ralph of Salem.
Services will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in Zeller chapel, Portland, with graveside rites 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Belcrest Memorial Park.
