John, the son of James and Anne Birney
McDivitt was raised in Tuscarawas County
and attended the early schools of the day.
John married Mary Martha Easterday 24 June
1875. John and Mary are the parents of
Bertha 1877-1951,James Blane 1880-1946,
Robt H. 1882-1960, Anna 1892 -1922. John
was very industrious. Owner of a Tile
Remanufactury which produced a billion
miles of clay tile pipe per year,plus
owning a few very productive farms.
